So on Monday we performed our item for production.  Lots of room for improvement but a good start and we've been receiving good reviews.

INDIAN PAPER ART!!!

On Thursday we had Mr. Kumar from Jaipur, India come and visit our class.  He showed us some amazing designs you could do with just a few rolls us tissue paper.  I will get some newspaper on the weekend and we will see if you guys can make them next week.  Here's a photo of them.  We bought tons of those booklets so if you make one this weekend, take a picture and email it to me at:  cdaily@franktonschool.ac.nz

On Friday, we said "See you later" to Sahar before her big move to Iraq.  We wish her and her family our best wishes and hope that she can stay in touch on our blog.

I know we are a class of AUTHORS and some of you just love writing.  Here is an opportunity for you to write some stories on the internet over the holidays.  I will post a few more things since I have my laptop back working.  We are using the picture from Ruapehu's Eruption a few years ago.  I have shown you in class how to use it.   

Remember - Read the hook, put your name and then hit ENTER a few times and start writing your story.  Make sure you:

- Don't forget your full stops
- match your spelling to the sounds you hear in a word
- have fun!
